Our story

The Benedict group runs three venues in Prague. What they share is how much we make ourselves — the beer, the bread and the pasta.

Where to find us

A laid table at Pivovarský dům — beer, bread and several Czech dishes.

Prague 2 · New Town

Pivovarský dům Benedict

Our own microbrewery on the corner of Ječná and Lípová. The specials are brewed under the patronage of the Břevnov Monastery Brewery; alongside them modern Czech cooking, our own bread and duck confit.

Prague 8 · Karlín

Pivovarský klub Benedict

A Karlín classic with a long history, in a new shape since 2021. Carefully picked beers from all over the country and the Czech cooking that goes with them.

Prague 2 · Vinohrady

Amiata La Cucina Toscana

Tuscany in Vinohrady. We make the pasta, pici included, on the spot; with it meat, fish and pulses the way the region cooks them — and Italian wines picked to match.

What we make ourselves

Beer

In Ječná we brew in our own microbrewery, with the specials made under the patronage of the Břevnov Monastery Brewery. In Karlín we pour carefully picked beers from all over the country.

Kitchen

Modern Czech cooking in both brewery venues, Tuscan cooking at Amiata. Our own bread, our own pasta, pici included.

People

Most positions are filled from within, and people are paid for what they can do rather than for how long they have been here.
